FLYING ROBOTS - SIGN ME UP!

QUADCOPTER ADVENTURES

In SPARKS, campers will learn all about quadcopters, how they fly, why they fly, and how to fly them with precision and skill. Camp specifics include: basic piloting skills and maneuverability, programming skills, sensors, functionality, managing payloads and team work. Campers also learn about the general usefulness of drones and the impact of this technology on the future.

SPARKS IS A GATEWAY TO:
Flight in the future, engineering, piloting, programming, robotics, autonomous craft engineering and unmanned system partnership.

KEY LEARNING:
Introduction to Physics of Flight, basics of working with flight controllers, transmitters, propellers and soldering kits.  Introduction to coding in a variety of relevant languages such as Scratch and Blockly for younger-ages students; and Python, C# (Unity), Lua (Roblox) JavaScript, Java (Minecraft), CSS, Arduino, Unreal Engine, HTML5, and Swift Playgrounds for the more experienced student.
